      ETS 2 Patch 1.33 lässt sich nicht mehr im OpenGL Modus starten

      Hallo zusammen.

      Seit dem Patch 1.33 Open Beta kann ich ETS2 nicht mehr im OpenGL Modus starten.
      Habe schon alles probiert, unter anderem den Tipp von FFEBEL510 mit der Startoption -r device gl.

      Mit dem Patch 1.32 ging es noch perfekt, habe es auch gerade nochmal probiert.

      Hänge mal meine Gamelog in den Spoiler, habe darin nur eine Error Meldung, fast ganz am Ende der Datei.(00:00:12.458:)

      Vielleicht hat ja jemand von euch eine Lösung für mein Problem, denn im dx9 Modus habe ich immer mit den Present fail errors zu kämpfen, so wie sie von FFBEL510 vorgestern auch beschrieben wurden.

      Meine Ausstattung:
      GPU : Geforce GTX 980 Ti

      Speicher 16,00 GB Ram
      Die Entwicklung an OpenGL wurde für Spieleanwendungen vor einigen Jahren eingestellt. Egal ob du jetzt nochmal wieder eine Notlösung findest, es sollte jedem bewusst sein, das es dafür keine Zukunft gibt.
      In euren Fall sollte man es als absolute Ausnahme sehen, das ihr mit so alter Hardware (2006/07) diesen Spiele bzw. die Patches noch so weit mitgehen konntet.

      Zu Grunde liegt hier einfach das Verständnis abseits der Leistungsfähigkeit (was noch dazu kommt), dass wenn der Support und Bugfixes für eine Grafikchip und deren Software (in diesem Falle 2014) eingestellt wurde, man keine Weiterentwicklungen mehr nutzen oder neue Spiele mehr spielen kann. Das manches Neues danach noch funktioniert ist Glückssache ohne Anspruch darauf und wird mit der Zeit immer weniger und irgendwann ist halt das Ende erreicht.

      Es gibt in eurem Falle nur zwei logische Lösungen, auch wenn es sein mag das es noch einmal irgendwie gerade so zurecht zu biegen ist:
      Bei Patch 1.31 oder 1.32 stehen bleiben und alles am PC sozusagen einfrieren, oder neue Hardware zulegen um damit die Weiterentwicklung mitgehen zu können.

      Danke für Deine Ausführung. Ich habe vom PC soviel Ahnung wie die sprichwörtliche Kuh vom Sonntag.
      Ja, ich werde auch sicherlich auf dem Patch 1.32 meine weiteren Kilometer abreißen. Zum Glück gibt es ja da durch Kartenmods auch schon riesige Karten und Kartenkombinationen. Natürlich ist mir klar, das ich irgendwann eine Aufrüstung mit entsprechender Hardware ins Auge fassen muss..........aber leider ist man nicht immer in der Situation das entsprechende Kleingeld zur Hand zu haben.
      Bitte nicht falsch verstehen, das ist auch kein Stöhnen "Oh bin ich doch ein armer Mann". Nein es ist einfach nur eine Feststellung.
      In meinem Beruf als Altenpfleger lernt man eh mit Kompromissen zu leben und zu arbeiten.
      Dennoch ist es schön das Du geantwortet hast, ehrlich habe ich fest darauf gehofft.
      Zum Glück kann ich ja auch die letzte TSM darauf fahren und auch meinem "Hobby" dem Skinnen fröhnen, und irgendwann einmal dann wird auch ein neuer PC da sein.......und dann mische ich wieder mit.

      Hallo Truckersson,

      etwas spät nochmal eine kleine Rückmeldung.
      Ende der 2000er Jahre kann ich mich selbst noch gut daran erinnern, wie ich mit einem alten PC und ebenso alten Röhren-Monitor immer die gleichen (teils 2D Spiele) von Ende der 90er und Anfang 2000er Jahre gespielt habe. Eine Demo von GTS mal probiert, mit einem Standbild pro sec gleich sein gelassen. War aber auch nicht schlimm, es war mir klar irgendwann kann ich die neuesten Spiele spielen.

      Wenn es so weit ist, biete ich dir gern Unterstützung an. Wie ich schonmal schrieb, in 2019/20 kommt im Bereich der APUs mit Prozessor und Grafikeinheit ein für ETS2/ATS zu beachtender Leistungsschritt. Es muss also nicht zwingend und im besonderen für dich die große Summe sein.

      Sonst gibt es immer auch weitere Wege und Ideen etwas zu finanzieren.
